Churches in the moonlight.

There are many churches in NZ and this one is called the ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ and is situated on the south shore of lake Tekapo, NZ. This is such a beautiful place especially in the middle of the night. I have posted a…. picture of this church before but I though I would share another one with you from the same spot. This particular evening after sunset there was some kind of function going on inside giving me and about thirty other Chinese photographer’s the opportunity to photograph it with light streaming out from the windows. The moon was out illuminating the clouds, the lake and the distant mountains but not so bright that the stars were obscured. I particularly like the warm light radiating out and mixing with the cold night.
