Dramatic Light

Today’s dramatic light, strong winds and cloudy conditions created an opportunity that I have been waiting for for several months….I have been super busy working with my cohort in the Arcanum and learning about photography with some other amazing individuals. If you are passionate about photography and motivated to learn then you should apply. It was created by Trey Ratcliff who has inspired me to become a visual artist. Check out this trailer of Season 1 of ‘Becoming and Artist with Trey Ratcliff. I have been to this spot several times before to photograph this bridge but it always looked boring because there were not enough elements in the image. Just the bridge by itself is not that interesting. But on this day the dramatic light, rays of sun, broken clouds and stormy seas’s combined to create a dark moody image. Much more in line with how I visualised the place in my mind. It pays to be patient and prepared.
