I have spent the last two weeks hanging out here in Washington with family which is always a treat. We spent a few days out in eastern Washington along the meandering Columbia river in wine country. Staying at the infamous…. ‘Cave B Estate Winery & Resort’, we gazed out over the Columbia river gorge and the wild fires raging in the distance. What a beautiful place. The dry desert environment is very different from from that of western Washington.
Upon return to Seattle I had the good fortune of being up on Queen Anne Hill one evening just as the sun was setting and was able to capture a cityscape with Mt Rainier in the distance. One seldom gets the chance because it is usually obscured by haze.
